Housing Inspections – Purchasing, Renting & Moving
Moving Into a Property
Moving into a new home provides an opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, treat pest problems before furniture and belongings are fully moved into place.
An inspection may be particularly useful if:
The property has been vacant
Previous occupants had pets
Pest activity has been reported
Droppings or other pest evidence is present
Cockroaches or rodents have been noticed
Fleas are suspected
There are concerns about termites
The property's pest history is unknown
Where pest activity is identified, treatment can be discussed based on the pest involved, areas affected and conditions at the property.
Before Moving Your Belongings In
Where practical, identifying pest problems before moving furniture and stored belongings into a home can make some areas easier to inspect and access.
It can also provide an opportunity to address an existing problem before your belongings are introduced into the property.
Bees Knees Pest Management WA can advise whether treatment is appropriate based on what is identified during the inspection.
