Housing Inspections – Purchasing, Renting & Moving
Rental Pest Inspections
Pest problems can sometimes become apparent when moving into or living in a rental property.
Bees Knees Pest Management WA can assess suspected pest activity in rental properties and help identify the pest involved, areas affected and conditions that may be contributing to the problem.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include signs of:
Cockroaches
Ants
Spiders
Rodents
Fleas
Bed bugs
Termites or other timber pests
Other pests within the scope of the service
Moving Into a Rental Property
If you notice pest activity when entering a new rental property, documenting what you find can be useful.
Where appropriate, an inspection can help establish what pest activity is present and provide recommendations regarding treatment.
Responsibility for arranging or paying for pest treatment in a rental property can depend on the circumstances and tenancy arrangements. Where necessary, tenants should discuss the issue with their property manager or landlord.
Our role is to assess the pest problem and provide pest-management recommendations, rather than determine responsibility under a tenancy agreement.
