Wasp Identification & Nest Activity

Wasps may be noticed individually around gardens, outdoor areas and food sources, or repeatedly travelling to and from a particular location.

Repeated wasp movement from the same opening or area can indicate that a nest may be nearby.

Common Signs of Wasp Activity

• Wasps repeatedly entering and leaving the same location

• Visible wasp nests

• Increased activity around gardens or vegetation

• Wasps around roof areas, eaves or wall openings

• Activity around sheds and other structures

• Wasps around food, rubbish or outdoor eating areas

Where Do Wasps Nest?
